Growing up loving fairytales and musical theatre, I’m so glad to finally have an outlet to listen to other people gush about their love for it as well! Drew and Cassie are so knowledgeable on both and I love tuning in every week to hear about adaptations I’m familiar with or learning about other great takes on the monthly tale. I really appreciate their discussions of modern contexts for these famous stories, like consent and adaptations of non-white stories.
Best part of this podcast is how often Cassie threatens to fight people in a Parking lot. Really great and fun podcast
Absolutely LOVE all the work Drew & Cassie put into the podcast. They do an amazing job of diving deep into the lore of the different stories they discuss and love how they talk about both classic and modern versions of each tale. They clearly do their research and it shows in this well polished podcast. Keep up the great work! ✨
