Comedian Adam Strauss and psychiatrist Jordan Eipper have no-holds barred conversations about sex, love, psychedelics, mental health, spirituality and, of course, their mothers. It's not quite comedy, and (for legal reasons) definitely not therapy. But they're going to fix themselves - and maybe you too.

With lockdowns easing and weather warming, everything's looking up. So why's Adam so anxious? Plus, the benefits of OCD, resenting those we love, and a near-violent mask-shaming altercation.
Adam's ongoing stay at his parents' house sets the stage for Jordan to dig into Adam's incendiary relationship with his parents growing up. The breeds of all dogs discussed have been changed to protect the innocent.
As Jordan finds himself pulled between intense love and intense fear in his new relationship, he and Adam wonder whether he's uniquely broken or if these are types of challenges everyone deals with in love. Plus the vulnerability of sex, the trauma o... more

Longtime listener of this excellent podcast. Take this with a grain of salt as I’ve never been formally trained in psychiatry, but as a married man in my late 30s, I wanted to share my perspective.
I spent years feeling like I couldn’t commit and was always finding flaws in every person I dated. I thought I was defective. I now realize I was dating the wrong women. As soon as I started dating my now-wife, it was astoundingly obvious and the doubts went away.
This podcast has gotten less interesting. But first, I’ve gotta say the plural of woman is WOMEN not woman. After hearing Adam say it wrong over a hundred times I’m ready to unsubscribe. Really disrespectful to women, that he doesn’t even say the word correctly.
In the episode after the phone call with Clara, he rambled for over an hour so yeah maybe I need to stop listening. No longer sure what this podcast is about.
This series has been very entertaining, humorous, and thought provoking. Adam has such a talent for story telling in a manner that is engaging, funny, and intellectually satisfying.
Love this podcast! Interesting and funny perspective into the healing potential of psychedelics and therapy.
Love this podcast. Great look at OCD, relationships, and therapy.
