  • Love this podcast!

Long time listener here! I am Derrick‘s wife. Aside from wanting to support him, I’ve continued to listen to every episode on my commute to work because I find the group’s commentary, funny, insightful, and informative.

In your Xmas episode, you asked listeners for their favorites from 2025 so here are mine:

    1) Shawshank Redemption - great movie and a great guest with direct expertise in prisoner rights

    2) Law & Order - the gun control laws in the US are ineffective. Despite the most mass ... more

Extremely interesting look into tv law

The audio can be better in the first place episodes so far

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Spy Game
Q: What did you all think of the legal portrayal of the events in Spy Game?
It gets a lot of things right about how espionage operations would function, but the central premise of the 24-hour clock before execution doesn't hold up under scrutiny.
Spy Game
Q: Will, why did you choose to discuss Spy Game today?
I find this movie ties in a lot of great history and a lot of really actual, just great visuals of some of the things that I was taught for human intelligence and some of the things that I really find interesting.
Sidebar 1
Q: How, when you know that there are violations happening in the system, but no one has come to you who's in a position to bring that case in court, how do you approach that problem?
Andrea explains that it’s crucial to form real relationships with people and often they get leads through informal discussions that connect them to potential plaintiffs.
