Join Manny, Noah, and Devan — three best friends and journalists — as they settle dumb arguments by actually doing the research.

Each week, they start with a debate or discussion. Why don’t men ask follow up questions? Should schools ban phones? Is dating an AI chatbot cheating? Then, they go out into the world, talk to experts, conduct experiments, and find the answer.

  • The podcast I didn’t know I needed

Came here from Search Engine almost a year ago and very happy I did. Every episode is just thought provoking enough to want to tune in but not so heady that I’m overwhelmed. It feels like I’m one of the guys just sitting in on a well thought out but casual discussion about a question I didn’t know I wanted to know the answer to. It’s a breath of fresh air after being bombarded by the news cycle - although I like the political takes too. Keep it up. You’ve got a good thing going.

  • My new favorite show

The pacing, conversation, interviews, and questions are all interesting and well presented. My question: management styles - micromanaging vs free range - who gets better results? Great show, look forward to future episodes!

  • Do we really need another podcast of a bunch of guys sitting around and talking?

If it's Noah, Manny, and Devan doing the talking, then yes, we definitely do.

This is a new favourite for both me and my partner. We are taken back to our younger days of being out with friends, arguing about things that are both important and not important at the same time. I particularly loved the episode with Patric Richardson--my partner finally believes me that you only need about 2 tablespoons of laundry detergent per load. I also really loved "why did people used to look older".

Love this podcast. But… they are inconsistent with episode releases for the past few months and the ideas seem to be running dry.
