Reviews

4.1 out of 5 stars from 359 ratings
  • Worst audio producer ever

Impressively bad audio production, just here for Phil’s show, temporarily, thankfully. Compression not used right or at all. Lows are un-hearable, the highs blow your ears off. Constantly fluctuating audio in general, and the de-Esser not used at all. The sam Purcell segment was so hissy on the s and the t’s. It’s a bold business move to let this chucklehead continue producing. Seen better tafe students do basic audio.

  • Boring drive show

It would be nice if the drive segment would concentrate on car reviews & the latest releases other than almost an entire show taken up with trivial pothole and road issues. I wasted an hour of my life last night listening to dribble.

  • NOT DURING A SENTENCE OR SEGMENT

Can … if you must … shoe horn a ad break or two mid segment… do it at a more congenial point? Some of the mid segment as intrusions have been sloppy and shambling

Cruising & Travel with Richard Davey – 13 August 2026
Q: All right, now we've got, of course, people saying that cruising is on the decline because a few of the cruise ships aren't coming here, but there's been a counter to that, has there?
Yes, the industry is seeing ships being redeployed rather than a long-term decline, with announcements of ships returning to Australia and a push for longer itineraries to maximize capacity.
FULL SHOW | Nights with John Stanley - 12 August 2026
Q: What does the Commonwealth Bank see for housing in the near term?
The bank expects stabilization with possible modest rate reductions next year, but maintains a cautious view on continued price movements given broader housing supply constraints.
The Weekend Gig Guide with Wilko - 13 August 2026
Q: What role do tribute acts play in the current live-music ecosystem?
Tribute acts provide accessible nostalgia and can be financially viable for performers when originals are not touring, highlighting how the market adapts to changes while still delivering value to audiences.
The Weekend Gig Guide with Wilko - 13 August 2026
Q: How should the industry respond to these changes to avoid shutting down regional festivals?
He suggests real-time consultation with music industry bodies, better rollout planning, and practical adjustments that keep small acts viable while still achieving the intended superannuation goals.
The Weekend Gig Guide with Wilko - 13 August 2026
Q: What impact do you see from the new superannuation rules on musicians and venues?
Wilko explains that venues are reluctant to hire sole traders and want to use company structures or trusts, which changes who gets paid and who manages super, potentially harming small acts and regional festivals.
