  • MOSTLY INFORMATIVE

Chris is an informative presenter, most of the time, with the only exception that he is a climate change denier. You can’t be a climate change denier, and claim at the same time to be informative. Do your homework Chris, and only then will you become one of the top radio presenters in Sydney. ✅✅✅

  • Most biased podcast I've ever listened to.

Right wing rubbish. Don't listen to this podcast unless you like hearing fascists talk to other fascists. Ramblings of a completely biased neo-conservative old man

The Week In Canberra with Dennis Shanahan - 15 August 2026
Q: Dennis, given the recent controversy, do you think the prime minister should have apologized?
The guest argues that apologies or at least a clearer acknowledgement would have reduced the political fallout, but notes the prime minister has resisted apologizing, and the ongoing narrative continues to affect public perception.
Ask A Tradie with Simon Stevenson - 8 August 2026
Q: What should I check before painting cement steps or pavers to ensure the finish lasts?
Test moisture by placing plastic on the surface and waiting to see if moisture builds underneath; if so, the surface isn't dry enough and should be dried first. Then follow the product's PDF guidelines for proper prep and drying times.
Ask A Tradie with Simon Stevenson - 8 August 2026
Q: What's the best way to remove deadlocked locks on old windows when you don't want to replace the whole unit?
Grind a slot into the screw head with a small grinding wheel or Dremel so you can drive it out with a flathead screwdriver, or use a drill with a grinding bit to create the groove before removing the screw.
The Great Australian Radio Show - featuring Amber Lawrence
Q: Does the US do a better job at embracing that country music doesn't have to be tied to rural imagery?
Amber explains that while country music in America is very large and diverse, both the US and Australia are evolving in how they view country storytelling; she emphasizes the universal appeal of narrative songs and notes that Australian artists can gain confidence by performing in the US, as seen at the Bluebird Cafe turning point.
BREAKING: Second near-miss collision at Sydney Airport
Q: Can you believe this, Trent? There has been yet again another near miss at Sydney Airport, what happened on the tarmac?
The Jetstar flight was being prepared for takeoff on the taxiway when another plane, in the vicinity, forced an abrupt stop, and the crew had to manage a high-risk situation with engines running and fuel on board.
