  • MOSTLY INFORMATIVE

Chris is an informative presenter, most of the time, with the only exception that he is a climate change denier. You can’t be a climate change denier, and claim at the same time to be informative. Do your homework Chris, and only then will you become one of the top radio presenters in Sydney. ✅✅✅

  • Most biased podcast I've ever listened to.

Right wing rubbish. Don't listen to this podcast unless you like hearing fascists talk to other fascists. Ramblings of a completely biased neo-conservative old man

Q: What policy measures are proposed to address energy and export dynamics in this context?
A gas tax framework is proposed, including a per gigajoule royalty and export levies to encourage domestic supply, stabilize domestic prices, and fund needed infrastructure.
The Sunday Sweep: Leith Van Onselen
Q: What role does planning and national strategy play in mitigating these effects?
Experts argue a national plan is essential to coordinate housing, infrastructure, and services; without it, cities will face escalating costs and reduced living standards as populations grow.
The Sunday Sweep: Leith Van Onselen
Q: What do the forecast numbers say about future population and its impacts on Sydney and other capitals?
Forecasts indicate substantial population growth in Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane by 2066, with Sydney potentially reaching 8.5 million and Brisbane adding significant numbers, which could exacerbate infrastructure and cost-of-living pressures if planning remains insufficient.
The Sunday Sweep: Leith Van Onselen
Q: The question we start with today, why big Australia will make us poorer, what is the core concern here?
The core concern is that rapid population growth in major cities will strain housing, water, and infrastructure, potentially lowering living standards and diluting wealth amid rising costs, rather than automatically boosting the economy.
