I listen / watch …a lot of rewatch podcasts and this has become my favorite. I’ll keep it brief :
1. It’s one person, no back and forth, no stupid jokes, no tiresome chitchat, just rewatch !! Thank you thank you
2. Your humility! Thank you, we don’t need you to be an expert on everything known to man, thank you for watching, analyzing and explaining to the best of your ability, you do a better job than I could do and it’s why I tune in.
3. Your analysis , and the sound quality ( simple product... more
The host, Victor, brings on a variety of cohosts, keeping things lively, but isn't afraid to go solo on occasion. His Letterbox reviews are so beautifully written, I thought maybe he was a professional critic for a newspaper out in New Jersey where he lives, but he set me straight on it being an avocation rather than a vocation.
In podcast form, he is more avuncular and less erudite, but it's always an enjoyable listen.
This is my go-to podcast when I look for commentary on the shows I’m watching. It’s like having a conversation with a friend. Victor almost always points out the same things I notice in shows, and his favorites of the year (except The Pitt!) are my favorites, too. He also has a wonderful voice.
I particularly enjoyed his podcasts covering Andor.
… can someone please help Darren out with his microphone?
He’s just a distorted mess every single time - there’s no excuse for it!
