    Huge fan of the show and listen to it every week. Birdwatching around the world is the biggest focus but lots of travel experiences, culture, nature beyond birds, is included. It keeps adding to my ever deepening wish list of natural history adventures. Gets me more motivated and inspired to get out there and see and hear the world’s nature.

  • A wonderful part of my commute

    A birder friend of mine recommended this podcast to me, and I’ve been absolutely hooked! I consider myself just a general nature and wildlife lover, including birds, and all of the episodes so far have been wonderful! It’s a great escape from my city commute and I look forward to listening to each episode.

  • My all-time favorite nature and travel podcast!

    This is hands-down the show I most enjoy listening to, and it’s easily my favorite nature and travel podcast…interesting and relevant to birders, herpers, travelers, hikers, and all-around nature enthusiasts. It’s funny, educational, engaging and inspirational, and I constantly find myself googling locations or looking up birds so I can add them to my wish list. This show makes me excited to explore the wild places on our incredible planet!

Q: How did your trek come to an end? Did you have to fly back to Port Moresby, or what?
After finishing the trek at Kokoda, they faced a canceled flight, but managed to get on a charter flight back to Port Moresby through the help of an Australian guide.
