Going out on a pelagic boat trip is always an exciting experience. Fresh air, the salt spray, and the unknown of what birds you might find! We went on a pelagic out of Garibaldi, Oregon that had lots of unexpected surprises. more

A really interesting listen when the hosts do their trip reports. I appreciate the detail and discussions of the real ins and outs, pitfalls and great areas to bird in the specific locations they visit. Knowing things like the availability of parking, restrooms or gift shops really helps me when I’m planning trips. My favorite episodes are the trip reports. more
I decided to try the podcast again today and was again appalled, this time by Hannah stumbling and mumbling over the death of Tom Johnson, a huge loss for many of us in the birding world. I just discovered this podcast and I really enjoy it. I’ve been a serious birder since 2017 and it’s nice to have finally found a podcast that’s produced by like minded folks. Keep it up! more
This sounded like a good podcast to listen to. Unfortunately, I could not get through even one episode. Why does the word “like” have to be peppered throughout every conversation? It may be an eye opener to Hannah and Erik if they listened to one of their podcasts and counted how many times they say “like” where it clearly does not belong.
Great mix of passion, personal insights, science, current issues in birding, and quirkiness. For me, Hannah and Erik’s banter is the perfect counterpart to their seriousness about making birding more accessible for us all. It’s refreshing to just hear decent people cover delicate issues the best they can, with a dose of humility, when it’s needed. Definitely one of my go-to sources for my bird fix.
