Welcome to National Treasures! Tag along with comedians Laura Lexx and Will Duggan for a day out at some of nation's finest attractions. Castles, stately homes, ruins, art galleries and museums. Listen as they stumble through muddy fields, hallowed halls and half-remembered historical facts. It’s like an audio tour… only narrated by two idiots.

This week Laura tells Will all about 1299 - a year full of tiny details including a prissy nun who is just way too perfect, a detour through what not to get stuck in a mangle and then finishing up with a small start to a massive historical deal.

For our final (ever?!) deep dive, Laura tells Ron all about the Great Flood of 1953 that they learned about on their trip to Canvey Island. They try to explain the details of the storm and hear some stories from eye witnesses about what it was like t... more
Yes, we know: there hasn't been an interview. The file is lost somewhere in the ether of Will's internet but that won't stop us from prattling on for further time about the wonders of the Escape/Piña Colada song for 45 minutes. In a fun, giggly, love... more
Laura and Will have a blissful trip to Canvey Island and then Will spoils it by being selfless/an idiot. This episode features some of the history of Canvey Island, some fish and chips, some cold weather and a few technical issues as Laura and Will g... more

Hello! Welcome back! After our little trek round the ruins of Lewes Castle last week, we this week take a moment to explore the archaeological museum that's twinned with the castle.

I first came across Laura Lexx several years ago when she went viral for handling a heckler at a show. I started listening to her other podcast with her brother Ron-Lexx Education. Have since decided to try out National Treasure though I don’t live in the UK. I am now catching up and everything I missed. I love this podcast. Laura and Will are funny and charming. They’re the kind of people you want to hang out with. And I really enjoy all the historical sites and information. I took an English h... more
This is a lovely, uplifting podcast by two comedians with brilliant chemistry. Laura’s jolly chuckling at Will’s heartfelt grumbling just never gets boring. It’s refreshing to hear authentic audio that isn’t over-edited or over-produced too.
It is also shedding light on various bits of Britain and its history that I don’t know much about.
As a bonus, I’ve discovered other comedians and podcasts through the interactions with their guests!
I find this podcast funny to listen to and love to hear them laugh and tell jokes together.
There’s really nothing not to like about this. Laura and Will work brilliantly together, their humour is a delight and the whole thing is overwhelmingly positive which makes a nice change these days.
If you like the Mortimer & Whitehouse fishing show, this should be right up your street
This is such a funny, light-hearted listen. Will and Laura are hilarious, as are their interactions with the kindly/villainous volunteers at the sites they visit. An absolute joy to have discovered in lockdown!
Love this podcast. Like going for a day out with friends. Very funny. Nice to share the lovely friendship between Will and Laura.
This is such a lovely podcast and is like going with your mates on an adventure.
The lovely Laura Lexx and charming and handsome Will Duggan are fabulous hosts. I’ve especially enjoyed this podcast as I’ve walked the streets near my home repeatedly during lockdown in Melbourne. They are funny, knowledgeable, and paint a vivid picture of sliding down a muddy hill in Converse. English history will never be the same again. Can’t wait for season two when they are allowed out again.

Not only is this podcast a great option to get excited about future travel when you are stuck at home, but it is also very funny! I laughed a lot listening to the first episode.
If you have ever traveled with will this is also a little nostalgic because his quick quips are tied to some of my best laughs while traveling, and this podcast keeps them coming.
A really good idea for a podcast presented by two funny and engaging hosts. Loved the Richard III episode!
I really enjoyed spending an hour wandering around Blenheim with Laura and Will, and I’m very much looking forward to the rest of the series.
They painted vivid pictures of their surroundings, with warm humour and frivolous silliness. I giggled and laughed out loud more than once. Lovely.
An excellent new podcast that’s at once both educational and entertaining! The first episode was brilliant, I particularly enjoyed the conversations with guides/butler who added an additional layer of charm to proceedings.
I have high hopes for the rest of the series ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Funny and lighthearted, just what you need when you are stuck at home!
A delightful combination of interesting facts and humerous chat between Laura and Will. They have a lovely comradery and did a great job painting the picture of what Blenheim Palace is like. Can't wait for the next episode!
