I am intrigued by this system but it will take me a while to navigate the rule book enough to run the game. I have never played or run a d100/Runequest/Cthulhu game and Mythras brought me into reading around the system. It’s so great to have dedicated people like Inwils putting their precious time into making this kind of resource for people like me. Thanks!
This podcast is a must listen for any Mythras players/GMs
Great podcast for a very great game that doesn’t get half the recognition it deserves. Inwils (and guests) does a great job of discussing game topics, delivering news updates and sharing enthusiasm.
Thanks for a really informative preview of Mythras. A great listen, and I look forward to future episodes.
A necessity for anyone interested in a d100-based approach and a much needed tonic for those of us enamored by or wholly preoccupied with The Design Mechanism’s excellent Mythras RPG system.
I am tuned in and await the next dispatch!

A focused, rules-heavy show exploring Mythras—from core combat and movement to sorcery, NPC construction, and in-character play. Episodes mix practical GM guidance, system comparisons, and design philosophy, often featuring seasoned players, publishers, and community contributors who illuminate how Mythras works in practice. The format favors actionable tips, real-play anecdotes, and a willingness to challenge grid-centric play with gridless or theater-of-the-mind approaches. Noteworthy is the recurring emphasis on thoughtful preparation, modular mechanics, and using tools (VTTs, world-building platforms, AI helpers) to streamline campaigns without sacrificing depth.
Overall, it's a deep-dan resource for Mythras fans and aspiring GMs seeki... more
