I’m sick of hearing able-bodied people make fun of things that could be life-changing for the disabled, such as millions of people like my elderly mother who are facing a crisis of trying to age in place in houses that no longer suit their needs. You might be able to walk to the bathroom, but what about them? What about you when you get to be old enough to need help?
