  • Meh.

I was already kind of on the verge of unsubbing but then you guys had to rag on the portable toilet. I’m sick of hearing able-bodied people make fun of things that could be life-changing for the disabled, such as millions of people like my elderly mother who are facing a crisis of trying to age in place in houses that no longer suit their needs. You might be able to walk to the bathroom, but what about them? What about you when you get to be old enough to need help?

  • Decent but very heavy editing

    Pros

It’s Katy and Tory sharing stories and having awesome guests

    Cons

Podcast is very edited too much for my taste. It’s not easy on the listener.

    Suggestion

The conversations and can flow much better if they toned down the editing. Perhaps have an outline with topics ahead of time. And if you veer off then go for it!

  • Came to this show to hear from two people who helped me develop critical thinking and analysis skills only to hear them shamelessly glaze one of the hack losers building AI deepfake tools in an episode ostensibly about how to spot AI and how insidious AI image replacement is. Not a SECOND of pushback when they hear he is actively working with tools that are going to put people out of work after a long conversation about how scary the slow erosion of reality has been. Sad!

MythBusting Viral Life Hacks: Which Ones Actually Work? ft. Sidney Raz
Q: So Sidney, is your last name Raz or is that short?
Sidney explains that Raz is his stage name, and then discusses how his life hacks channel evolved from early social media iterations into a broad catalog of practical tips.
Astronaut Chris Hadfield Reveals What It REALLY Takes to Go to the Moon
Q: Did training in zero gravity change the way you think about fitness when you got back to Earth?
Hadfield explains that training must be specific to mission constraints and that zero-G exercise regimens focus on maintaining bone density and muscle through compact, gravity-free equipment, with an emphasis on long-term adaptation rather than conventional Earth-bound routines.
Busting Cowboy Myths w/ Chuckwagon Cook Kent Rollins
Q: Kent, what drew you to the traditional chuckwagon cooking and Western mythology?
He explains his long-standing passion for outdoor cooking, cast iron, and feeding cowboys, rooted in family kitchen memory and a desire to preserve a practical, hard-won culinary culture.
Busting MMA Myths With a UFC Legend ft. Jon Fitch
Q: What is the biggest myth about MMA pay and how it compares to other sports?
Jon Fitch explains that fighters in MMA receive roughly 14-15% of the promoter's proceeds, with pay-per-view points and newer deals changing some dynamics, but overall fighters are paid far less than athletes in many other major sports.
Is Bigfoot REAL?! The Bigfoot Encounter That Changed Survivorman Forever ft. Les Stroud
Q: What evidence could potentially convince you that Bigfoot exists?
Les and the hosts discuss the need for consistent, verifiable physical evidence (footprints, DNA, clear sightings) and credible, repeated observations, but also acknowledge that absence of evidence is not evidence of absence, keeping the door open for future discoveries while demanding rigorous proof.
