Okay buddy… new host. Seems to be ai scripted or something. Not sure if they read the material buddy.
I really liked the two, it was really well put together, the banter was hilarious and objective to its content a lot of the time.
When the Bro-ness, anti-liberal politics, and their complaints about woke culture (which is exactly the context of the new podcast, and that is unlistenable) started to creep in you could tell were burnt out and they’d started to checkout.
The new hosts seem really green, don’t have the rapport or production skills or the humour of Ben and Aaron.

I was more than tepid about leaving a bad review ‘cause in a way podcasts are an art form that is subjective to the listener, but after reading numerous accounts, I see that I’m not the only one who’s turned off by these new guys. I’m sorry but the fart jokes, & the middle school level cursing is just cringy.
Loved the aussies, liked the new guys at first but the more I listen the more I cringe at the immature humor. Hearing a grown man call things gay is so weird to me lol they just give middle school want to be cool vibes. I still try to listen just getting more difficult to enjoy.

Two long-running hosts explore a wide array of reality, fringe science, mystery, and esoteric topics with a mix of humor and skeptical inquiry. Recent episodes span parapsychology, cryptids, occult ideas, timekeeping, and cosmology, often featuring banter, deep dives into supplied materials, and occasional Plus extensions. The show is noted for its curiosity and breadth, though listener sentiment around host dynamics has been polarized, with strong opinions on production style and depth of analysis.
A notable strength is the sustained ability to make unconventional subjects accessible and entertaining, while maintaining a critical edge. Potential listeners who enjoy skeptical discussion of paranormal claims, unusual histories, and cross-di... more
