I typically struggle to listen to podcasts because most podcasters lull me to sleep with their superficial and rehearsed topics.
Laura and Virginia make me feel like I’m hanging out with really knowledgeable friends who entertain and inform, which is hard to find in a podcast.
I love their crazy personal stories and how they know so much, but aren’t know-it-alls. You go girls!
Laura and Virginia have very eclectic tastes in so many areas and I love how well read and intelligent both of these women are. I’ve learned about Greek mythology, the pointlessness of boyfriends, and many psychological conditions that I am probably developing as I write. These two give each other grief in the way that only sisters can, but there is always warmth behind it. Way to go and keep it coming!

I’ve been listening to this podcast for over a year now and tonight I heard the Forgiveness episode while chopping vegetables; it felt like I was listening to family catching up while I made dinner. I got some great insights and I felt less alone. Exactly what we need in these dark times. Thank you Laura and Virginia!

Two sisters bring humor to mental health topics, blending clinical insight with personal storytelling. Episodes span practical therapy concepts, pop culture, relationships, and wellness, often through a humorous lens that keeps complex topics approachable. Noteworthy is the strong dynamic between a licensed therapist and a standup comedian, plus frequent guest conversations and real-world advice that's grounded in both science and lived experience. Potential listeners can expect candid discussions, actionable tips, and entertaining storytelling that makes psychology feel accessible rather than clinical.
