Used to enjoy listening to this weekly as I loved the deep dives on my favorite band. After hearing the host was a right wing, MAGA radio personality I can no longer enjoy this podcast. I hear his voice and think about the current dismantling of our democracy. It makes me so angry and sad that we are so screwed. It is unfortunate he did not take more lessons from the band.
But this is a great little podcast. Ive been a fan of DM since I bought the Some Bizarre album back in Spring 1981. Have stayed with them ever since, seen them on every tour, and have all the crazy promotional merchandise: candles, coats, watches, incense stick holder, pizza box, even got a BONG megaphone up in the attic. It is nice to hear a podcast about a great band. Probably my second favorite band of all time. John does a decent job and keeps his political views out of the show. We're here for DM and nice to see a new episode pop up in my feed!

It's OK but episodes often contain major glaring errors. Such as the 40th anniversary look back at Construction Time Again where People Are People keeps being spoken about as being on the album. It wasn't. It is a big thing to get wrong for a fan podcast.
