Whether you're crying in the cereal aisle, laughing at old voicemails, or just trying to survive another first without them, th... more

  • Exactly what I needed to hear

I am 5 years and 2 months into my grief process. I lost my dad to cancer and his birthday just passed in March. No one even mentioned it. Not even my family. I found this podcast at the exact time that Gabri puts all my emotions and feelings into words. Thank you for validating all my emotions and thoughts throughout this journey.

  • Excellent

As a nurse, I’m apart of people’s worst day, daily. Your poignant, honest words describing your experience have been on my mind since episode 1.

As a human, you giving words to grief and pain, feelings which often feel wordless, is so appreciated. I hope this podcast continues to find the right listeners. Thank you.

  • THANK YOU!

From another grieving daughter, I can’t thank you enough for sharing your story. I can relate to pretty much every word you say, since our stories are similar. Hearing someone speak about all the things I have been feeling over the past 3 years makes me feel less alone on this grief journey.

Thank you for sharing your story. While listening, I cried many tears and even laughed some as well. You are a great story teller! As a daughter whose mom is still living, I appreciate your advice and encouragement of how to deal with an unimaginable loss. And as a mom, I appreciate you sharing how you are able to carry on with your life, even when it wasn’t always easy. Thank you for removing some of the fear of the unknown and offering great advice for how to navigate the hard situations immed... more
