This is my favorite read-along podcast. I love the chemistry between hosts, and their discussions have been a great way to revisit the comics of my childhood. Each host brings a different perspective and set of tastes, so it never feels like the same fan-boy opinions shared back and forth. They’re also not afraid to criticize beloved books of the 2000s and 2010s, and it’s refreshing to hear them break away from the “group think” that often celebrates comics that haven’t aged well.

This has been an amazing journey listening to the podcast.
Found them randomly in 2021 and they were only in the early 90’s worth of their Marvel comics run.
Was drawn in by how well they covered everything from, ideology, seeing and reading the stories through a current day lens, cultural impacts, their banter, their point/counter-points, pure fun and above all, it’s a fantastic and entertaining listen.
The duo eventually became a trio on the pod and managed to get even better.

This podcast is great! I love all the Marvel movies so I was interested in hearing more about where everything started but don’t have the time or will to read all of it. Zack, Dave, and Charlotte were able to lay everything out super clear and were great to listen to. Can’t wait to listen to more! Zack is my favorite and he has the best opinions though.

My Marvelous Year is the absolute best Marvel comics out there. I could listen to the hosts discuss literally anything but it is so fun to read along with them week to week.
Additionally, their Slack community is made up of a bunch of great people with fun comic and other discussions.
I will say that I have action with fraction, Zack is 100% right about Hawkeye, but we know he actually just likes movies and not comics JK
