Games I haven't heard of or games I haven't had the opportunity to try out myself, on display to enjoy. What a lovely spread.
The high level of effort and care put into this show is so obvious. The sound design and professionalism from the casts really showcases the games while also telling such a polished and entertaining story. I came for the Orbital Blues series but have fallen in love with all the rest.
This podcast is incredibly well done, with immersive sound design, epic music, and engaging storytelling. The GM and players are all extremely talented storytellers and improvisers. After listening to the Project ECCO episodes, the Orbital Blues season, and now the new 9 Lives to Valhalla season, this is quickly becoming on of my favorite actual play podcasts!
In this podcast, new DMs lead players through a variety of role-playing games, including playtests of some brand new games still being designed. Extensive briefing and debriefing sessions mean that this podcast really gets into the DMs heads and gives you a perspective on both what it’s like to lead one of these games and how you could do that better in the future. And of course every season is a brand new world to explore with a new crew, a new DM and a new game! Lots of fun.
My First Dungeon does an amazing job of highlighting fun new games enjoyable for folks new to TTRPG and folks who have played for a while. The cast and crew beautifully showcase the silliness and depths that each game can reach. Highly recommend.
