  • Not what I thought

I thought I’d get to hear a great interview with two amazing comedians-Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, but it was just two dudes talking ABOUT the relationship THEY thought Amy and Tina have. They had names wrong, had to stop the talking to fact check themselves, and did not seem prepared. It reminded me of the phrase Wendy Williams used to say about celebs- “a friend in my head.” Waste of time.

  • Don’t be tricked

This is really a podcast about Marc and Brian with some occasional details about other friends. I wanted to love this show so hard. It is a lovely concept. But the research is lacking. There was a horrible mispronunciation in the Jane Fonda/Lily Tomlin interview and lack of grasp on Jane’s marriage to Ted Turner.

The Abby Jacobson/Ilana Glazer episode is one hour and 11 minutes. The hosts talked about themselves for the first 19 minutes (yes I checked) and then repeated at the end they had muc... more

  • Bowie and Burns

I was thrilled to hear about this friendship as a big fan of both Bowie and Talking Heads. I wasn’t aware of their friendship and influence on each other. After listening I immediately queued up some of their music and jammed. (Burning Down the House is my favorite song to play on the Fourth of July 😜)

Enjoy your show as a nice palette cleanser to all the negative stuff in the world, an amuse bouche of positivity, if you will.

    Cheers from Montana!
