I listened to the Shakira episode, and was a little put off by the constantly changing background music and sound bites. Would love to hear more raw analysis rather than the ever changing production and sounds bites that sound more like she’s announcing a title rather than giving actual insight. It seemed a little juvenile.

I could not feel more seen with this podcast! I love Maria’s narration of random-ish (but not that random!) topics that have crossed my mind every now and then. From seemingly innocuous “gossip” like Mariah and Luis Miguel, but getting into the real talk with race and culture.
