I primarily listen for inspiration and education on the sync business as i am in it myself! I appreciate the guests and hosts candid dialogue on all aspects of the business thanks!!!! My only gripe would be to get the audio quality a bit more in the ballpark of other podcasts.

Making A Full Time Living Licensing Music With Bryn Evans
Q: What's your view on AI in music licensing? Have you used it in any part of your workflow?
There are two sides: I haven't used AI for composition because I enjoy writing, but I use AI as a tool for business tasks like contract analysis or grant writing, and I see it as something to be used judiciously and ethically.
Making A Full Time Living Licensing Music With Bryn Evans
Q: How long did it take before licensing became a reliable income, and what should new entrants expect?
It took about three years of very consistent work to reach a point where I could make a living from it; the key is sustainability for two to three years while royalties build up.
Making A Full Time Living Licensing Music With Bryn Evans
Q: What were the early steps you took to break into music licensing and find opportunities?
I started by researching people already doing the space, joined a network of publishers, and pitched broadly to multiple publishers and libraries, using feedback to tailor future pitches and grow my catalog.
Inside Bespoke Music for Amazon, Nike, Coca Cola, Samsung & More
Q: What qualities make a composer top-tier in your network?
Top composers are reliable, professional, respond quickly, deliver in the right formats, and most importantly create music that is on vibe and on brief, while being open to feedback and collaboration.
Inside Bespoke Music for Amazon, Nike, Coca Cola, Samsung & More
Q: How do you balance AI tools with human input in your workflow?
AI is a useful sparring partner and tool for ideas, but a human filter and curation are essential to ensure the final music has depth, context, and the right emotional resonance for the project.
