But for now, during the offseason, the Wentz signing raises a number of questions. Certainly, it makes sense for Wentz (on the back nine of his career) to resign with the team he grew up following and rooting for. But what does it mean for the Viking... more
It’s the offseason in the NFL, where speculation trickles down from the sky (or internet) and lands like so much wet, March snow, becoming frozen and as slippery a slope as any Purple prediction. It often means little and is gone in a trifling, yet s... more
The biggest potential free agent for the Purple, however, is quarterback Kyler Murray, who was released by the Arizona Cardinals on Wednesday. Most observers have the Vikings as the odds-on-favorite to land him. (But, at press time, Murray was schedu... more
Reports from ESPN surfaced this week that the first two cuts/trades are imminent: defensive tackle Javon Hargrave and running back Aaron Jones. Both are old (33 and 31, respectively and expensive ($21,453,382 and $14,550,000 in cap hits, respectively... more

This may be the most poorly produced podcast I’ve heard. All the computer noises. I lost count at a dozen. As good as the content may be it’s so distracting making this a first, and only, listen.
But heavens could he use a new cohost. I’m not sure if it’s age but he can’t remember anything and when he does speak he’s usually wrong. Mark deserves better.
didn’t seek out a podcast to knock it, but these guys think the NFL is stuck in 1980 and hasn’t been evolving at an increasingly fast pace over the last 30 years. very poor understanding of positional value or how to generate wins in the modern NFL. altogether, it’s just poor commentary deliver and poorer analysis from the host. just not good :(

I've been listening to Joe Johnson and Joe Oberle for several years--hence the name "Morning Joes--and they always have a unique and dare I say, oddly refreshing take on the machinations of the Minnesota Vikings. The two gents, a pair of unmatched socks, have a charming synergy, which is fueled by the neurosis of Joe Johnson, a younger man than the other. Joe the Younger articulates what many fans feel about the never-ending struggle of the Vikings to win a Super Bowl, a state-of-mind that no Vi... more

This show centers on Minnesota Vikings analysis from two experienced insiders, focusing on roster moves, NFL draft impact, coaching strategies, and quarterback development. Episodes routinely dissect draft picks, free-agent signings, and how coaching changes—especially on defense and at the quarterback position—shape the team's outlook for the season. A standout angle is the hosts' practical, insider perspective and their knack for weaving strategy with fan culture and NFL context, making it a go-to for listeners who want a clear, nuanced Vikings narrative beyond typical game-day coverage.
