  • Fun & informative

This is my favorite Twins podcast, and I’ve listened to many. I love the format of recapping each series. It’s informational, but even more, it’s fun. Usually the titles of the episodes alone have me laughing.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Rocco's Way No More (Shelton Hiring and Postseason No. 2)
Q: Do you think the Twins will retire Buxton's number?
Probably, but hopefully they don't because if they do, it's just a PR stunt because nobody's coming to the games.
Rocco's Way No More (Shelton Hiring and Postseason No. 2)
Q: How long do you think he'll be the manager?
If they don't win, three years; but it's hard to gauge these things because the ownership is so disconnected from the reality of running a baseball team.
Rocco's Way No More (Shelton Hiring and Postseason No. 2)
Q: Do you think that the optics of this hire are worse than the actual hire?
It's really hard to look at this in a vacuum; it feels like a nothing, and the Twins missed an opportunity to maybe win a couple of fans back by making an impact hire as manager.
A Fair Weathered Fan (Rangers Series Recap, 9/23-9/25)
Q: Can you still be a good fan of the team if you're not spending money on said team?
Yes, as long as you're still following the team and know what's going on, it's okay if you choose not to spend money on them.
What's the Opposite of Developed? (Tigers Series Recap, 8/4-8/6)
Q: What does Rocko need to do to keep his job for next season?
He probably needs to show that he can manage this new lineup effectively and demonstrate the ability to create a competitive environment.
