  • Awesome Teacher. RIP Joel

It absolutely stinks that you are gone, Joel. You’ve changed so lives, including mine, and I hope your family and friends are able to find someway to keep this podcast running because it is an invaluable tool that took my Spanish to next level. This podcast was one of the best resources in helping my growth in listening. I was too advanced for Cuéntame and Chill Spanish Listening, but too underdeveloped for Spanish with Cesar Intermediate. • Perfect cadence

Joel Zarate puts you first! I love that he speaks the story slower first, then again faster.

My problem is trying to translate when they speak too fast; Joel eliminates the issue.

Highly recommend to anyone transitioning from learning apps to wanting to improve their listening skills.

Absolutely fantastic. I love the two versions of the story at different speeds. I am confident that this will be a great addition to my Spanish learning arsenal.
