A great look at the Mid South territory from late ‘81 through ‘83. Seems to be on hiatus or finished, as there hasn’t been a new episode in over a year, but I keep rotating through the episodes. As this was my home territory growing up, I watched MSW when it aired, but the detailed commentary from Mike Mills and Brian Last really fills in the missing moments. I feel like I catch something new with each listen.
I like this podcast a lot so I’m giving it 5 stars. That said, skip the January 1, 1983 episode if you are watching Mid-South for the first time because the guest host freely gives away plot lines for the upcoming weeks. I can’t believer there isn’t a spoiler tag on this episode. I mean, I get it, this is a 40 year old wrestling show, but some of us are only watching now for the rest time.
A great podcast and really well done I enjoyed there take on this great promotion. And the fun there having I can honestly say if have a bad listen to five episodes and then watch the episodes they talked about and you will be smiling at the end like me . Hope they come back and do 1984 as I’d like to hear there thoughts on stagger Lee .
Breath-taking episode
This is still my favorite podcast!
