講了兩種跟我較離身的奢侈品，今集「博物與博物館系列」揀來分享的是與我密切相關的，那就是橄欖油！來西班牙生活之後，橄欖油成了我的每天煮食用的油；分別只是在於是否"extra virgin" (即是否還保留貞操) 而已。
本書內容太豐富了，我必須分上下兩集分享。今集上集主力講歷史——橄欖油從幾千年前就開始被使用，埃及、希臘和羅馬這些古文明，如何使用它呢？在這些文明中，橄欖油有著怎樣的地位？羅馬人又如何提防人偷油甚至造假呢？

不過這本書真正的主角其實是歐洲的近代史。
而受本書的啟發，我在旅途上特別張開嗅覺這塊感官網，多用嗅聞去記住一個城市。在節目最後部分我分享了自己的「日常氣味圖」回顧。
