  • Wonderful Historical Context

I greatly appreciate the focus on Jesus and they life he lived and the freedom he provides. I grew up in an evangelical church that I would say was "Jewish Tolerant" but there was little attention paid to the Old Testament and heavily relied on New Testament teachings only. Learning more about the connections to the Old Testament and how Jesus was Jewish - really has shaped me and has changed everything.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

96 – The Case for Biblical Languages | Austin Curtin
Q: What are the main interpretations of Pistis Christu and why do they matter?
There are three traditional readings—faith in Christ, the faithfulness of Christ, and the Christ faith—and each leads to very different conclusions about justification and how believers relate to the Messiah.
96 – The Case for Biblical Languages | Austin Curtin
Q: Why would someone want to learn the biblical languages?
Because these languages let you access the Bible in its original form and reveal nuances that translations can obscure, ultimately enabling a more accurate understanding of scripture.
94 – Messianic Jewish History Unveiled | Dr. Gershon Nerel
Q: What changed during the period from the Ottoman era to the 1967 culmination of your studies?
The major change was the Operation Mercy/Grace, which evacuated most Jewish Believers in Yeshua from the land to Britain, creating a break in continuity and leading to a new generation of immigrants after the state of Israel emerged.
93 – Counting the Omer for Personal Spiritual Growth | Damian Eisner
Q: How can someone practically engage the Omer this year?
The practical approach includes gratitude prayers, reading Psalm 67 at night, keeping a simple nightly journal to note blessings and daily challenges, and intentionally reflecting on personal faults and growth while asking God for guidance. It also involves accountability with a trusted friend and journaling to track progress across the 49 days.
93 – Counting the Omer for Personal Spiritual Growth | Damian Eisner
Q: So why don't you start out by telling us, as if we were babies, what is the Counting of the Omer?
Damian explains that the Omer is a counting commandment from the Torah, a period of 49 days between Passover and Shavuot, emphasizing both a mitzvah (external practice) and a personal me-centered growth journey. It's a structured time for gratitude, reflection, and spiritual elevation, culminating in the receiving of the Torah and the Spirit.
