我們一生最高的目標，乃是透過耶穌來追求神。然而，我們可以採取哪些具體行動，來尋求祂呢？
首先，我們需要研讀聖經。有系統且持之以恆地考查神的話，讓我們的信心不斷滋長，並得到有關生命與敬虔所需的一切（彼得後書 1:3）。其次，我們必須持續積極的禱告生活。也就是常常與神對話，向祂傾心吐意，也要留心聆聽祂的聲音。第三，我們要帶著禱告的心，默想經文，順服聖靈的引領，將聖經的話語落實在生活日常中。這個過程能幫助我們內化屬天的真理，並靠著真理而活。
