Really appreciate the content. There is a but. But I find it incredibly frustrating when the guests speak over one another and I can’t actually hear what they have to say. I understand that many of the topics arouse passions but it would be nice. If in this context, speakers could behave a little more like adults. Instead of being able to hear opposing points of view, I often have to turn it off.

Tough to review because I’m a bit torn.
I generally appreciate Mehdi’s stances and his focus on issues that matter. Also, when he has guests with similar views the dialogue is informative and meaningful.
Unfortunately, I’m increasingly finding that his attempts to engage with people who have different views seem purely for show. In those cases, Mehdi relies heavily on interruption and superficial tactics used to ‘win the argument’ in ways that are non-constructive and ultimately meaningless.... more

I agree with mehdi’s opinions. And appreciate his honest journalism and empathy for the oppressed. But I don’t like his debating style. He cuts people off and doesn’t let his guests finish their answers. His arguments are sound. He doesn’t need to be a bully in debates to win the argument.

For the most part it is refreshing to see responsible people being asked hard questions… if you can hear what is actually being said. Great host, great interviews(maybe), horrible sound quality. Listening through an earbud with the volume turned all the way up many of these episodes are barely audible, either the host, the person being interviewed or both.
