The way this programme is constructed it’s as if they are in your living room with a few friends talking about their incredible contributions to music. Who wouldn’t enjoy listening to Paul McCartney, Noel Gallagher, Jimmy Webb, Tom Jones giving us a glimpse of how and why iconic songs were created? This is 10/10. BBC at its very best.
Always a case of, When is the next series.
Fascinating and rare to hear about iconic albums being explained and performed by the artists who wrote them.
Brings real conext and meaning to these albums. The show is the right mix of informative and persistence in getting to the heart of these albums.
love the details and in depth questions that this show goes into!
