These guys love music and remind me of the (possibly apocryphal) quote by Duke Ellington about music: if it sounds good, it is good. They just enjoy talking about these songs and are smart and funny. Such a great time, and whether or not you agree with their opinions is part of the fun!
This is a fantastic show!! Sarah, it’s another 9/11. I sincerely hope you have found Don, your disaster buddy from 2001. I have faith he’ll turn up one day. Maybe he’s enjoying your show and will one day be inspired to come forward. I hope you and he are well. #OperationFindDon ❤️🤍💙

I love the conversational seasons and I love the countdown/bracket seasons; always so fun and entertaining. As a pop music enthusiast, I can’t believe I just discovered this podcast! It is amazing, especially the Lilith Fair countdown episodes. I love the deep analysis of songs I know and love, as well as the ones I loathe but still somehow appreciate.
I love this podcast. Mark and Sarah are a delight. Their shift from discussing individual songs to thematic seasons has made this a must listen for me.
