The English had made progress with colonization in North America but they had eyes on Quebec too. In 1629 they made their move and things went terribly for the French colonists and Champlain over the next few years.

This is by far my favourite podcast. I get to laugh and learn all of the crazy things that have happened in Canada’s past. What I’ve been most surprised by so far is how funny some things f the stories are that the Indigenous people would tell the European explorers.
This is a very interesting show, and I look forward to where it’s going to go.
