I appreciate Millie’s honesty about creating a separate WhatsApp group but please note that it does hurt the person being left out, especially if she has had no explanation for it. Why not explain? Most of us accept to hear it if we have said the wrong thing or if our child has misbehaved. As you say when you are a new mother, you do struggle and can do without the drama that is typical of secondary school.
I especially loved the episode with Dr Martha. So many of the approaches to parenting toddlers felt doable and realistic. With specific tips on bedtime, hurting siblings and how to approach parenting with a partner. Great content, format and very helpful. I listen every week and love it!
Latest episode was really disappointing, cutting friends out of chats etc .. wasn’t a nice listen.
I’ve always enjoyed Millie’s openness around mental health and motherhood but this podcast unfortunately feels a bit catty and trivial.
I liked this podcast until the one that came out yesterday.. not nice hearing about Millie cutting her friend out and messaging her friend that she introduced her to.. very mean girl.
