  • They need to get over themselves

They pick apart every movie to much. Disney Channel movies are made for kids and teens. They're supposed to be fun, cute and easy to enjoy. They're not meant to be cinematic masterpieces.

  • Get over yourselves

Two old people illogically hate on Disney Channel original movies made for family audiences whilst completely ignoring that context.

If I wanted to hear a crotchety old man rant I would just turn on the news. Don’t waste your time here.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Bop to the Top with Michael Weber
Q: What keeps audiences coming back, and how do you manage touring with such a compact setup?
We keep the setup tight—DJ gear, a screen, lighting—and scale up with visuals and occasional confetti for bigger shows. The energy is driven by nostalgia and community; people know almost every lyric, and the crowd's engagement makes it feel like a celebration rather than a performance.
Bop to the Top with Michael Weber
Q: How did you birth the idea for Bop to the Top and decide to run with it as a touring Disney Channel night?
We jumped in with both feet after Jeffrey had run similar nights in LA, and I'd seen a coordinated High School Musical dance at a club. The moment I realized we'd found our people was in LA, where I felt home and saw the community that loves these songs as much as we do, which made us want to expand and keep growing.
Starring Matt Shively as Bart in "How to Build a Better Boy"
Q: Nickelodeon or Disney, you're only allowed to work for one, what do you think?
Disney, because while Nickelodeon launched my career, Disney offered a deeper, more hands-on, collaborative environment where I felt truly valued and able to grow as an actor.
Starring Matt Shively as Bart in "How to Build a Better Boy"
Q: What was the shooting process like?
The shoot involved a largely improvisational approach with two-page scenes that often expanded into six-page takes, and the team frequently added bits from our on-set improvisations into the final cut, making it a very collaborative and expansive process.
Inspired by... Courtney and Erica Enders
Q: What do you really think of your sister?
They describe a strong, candid sisterly bond, with mutual respect and humor about each other's strengths and quirks.
