I love this show and these characters so much. This is definitely one of those sit-in-my-car-in-the-driveway-to-finish-the-episode kind of podcasts because it’s just so captivating. Sometimes they are fun and silly (and a little off the rails) and other times they pull me in and tug at my heartstrings or have me on the edge of my seat with suspense. I love actual play podcasts but I have a hard time finding ones that aren’t TOO silly. I also crave interesting worlds and character development! This show is a nice balance of silly and serious. Even though they use d&d (not my favorite system to listen to), the world is thankfully not the forgotten realms! It’s so refreshing to hear a story in a different kind of world, and it gives this show an immediate appeal.
