Back in 2018, I decided that I finally needed to start watching Mad Men, and being a guy who loves to hear the sound of his own voice - I thought what a better way to really dive into the show and keep me on track than by doing a weekly (most of the time) podcast about this show I had heard so much about. Over almost a 2 year span I watched this show almost like it was still a weekly program, allo... more

I think this is great for a listen back for what one or 2 people listening at the time thought the show was as it aired. Not a huge amout of kind of retro look back but good takes, and fun. If you want to hear a St. Louis accent that's not John Hamm's, this is the place.
I enjoyed the fast recap and short tidbits from the episode that this podcast brings and the host has some quite funny quirks and angles. However, what made me stop listening is the constant yawning and low quality of sound and interruptions. It was absolutely driving me crazy and stopped after the 4th season. Real unprofessional.
Made Man is perfect for both first time and re-watchers of Mad Men. I particularly like the casual/informality of the host...!
I like the concept of the show but it’s really rambley at times. I found that the rambling nature of the podcast suited the show more when the episodes were shorter, not so much when the episodes were encroaching on the 45+ minute length. Just not my personal style of podcast.
I’m really enjoying the podcast! I recently watched all of mad men this past summer and I was happy to see recent recaps of the show. Keep up the good work!
