Great podcast! I love the various topics with real people and their lived experiences. The thing that bugs me is that Mal’s speaking volume is too low. She whispers some responses and then will speak at a normal volume. Consistency would be cool.
I’m really happy to see the podcast beginning to bring in some more interesting guests (beyond just LA “cool gays” and friends of friends without much to say.) That said, I do think the host very clearly doesn’t have the journalistic gravitas to be conducting these interviews quite yet. If this is the career path she’s chosen, I do hope she takes the time to study and develop her interviewing skills. I’d like to hear more than just “wow” “giggle giggle giggle” or “toooootally of course!” in re... more
Love the new season and how you’re able to bring such perspectives and stories like Laya’s. You’re an incredible interviewer and your empathy comes across so clearly! 10/10 keep it up

The episodes consist of her asking a guest a question then responding in an Alex Cooper-esque way (rephrasing their answer, saying “wow”, or fake laughing). It’s a shame because lesbian podcasts are lacking, but this girl shouldn’t really have a platform. She never pushes back on any opinions or q... more
