Steve was very helpful and insightful in our free meeting. Offers good resources for lsat and is willing to work with you on the prices. The LSAT unplugged YouTube also helped me severely when it came to understanding and breaking down the lsat material.

  • Amazing LSAT resource

Studying for the LSAT is no joke. Especially when you’re first generation law student. LSAT Unplugged has been such a great resource and genuinely gives me a sense of confidence I have been lacking. I have been studying on and off for a little over a year and felt like perhaps law school was not for me. Since listening to and watching LSAT Unplugged, I have felt like a light switch was turned on in my brain. I am thinking like the LSAT and notice the little mistakes I was missing before. • Thank you, Steve!

Let me just start off by saying that I do not test well, and I just don't have the best studying skills. So you can imagine how incredible difficult it has been to study for the LSAT, especially reading comp. Steve and his team has helped me understand the logic behind the test instead of just memorizing strategies. I’ve already seen an increase in my confidence and direction, and my scores are starting to reflect that progress. I recently took the LSAT and felt more confident than I really woul... more

  • Transformational Tone

I was stuck and completely overwhelmed with the LSAT until I found LSAT Unplugged. Their podcast and YouTube videos helped me rebuild my confidence and finally understand the logic behind the test. Everything is broken down simply and clearly no fluff, just solid teaching. I’m so thankful for how generous and effective their free content is.

  • Steve makes it all feel possible!

Steve and his team are providing great resources that takes the stigma out of studying for the LSAT and beyond.

I initially started studying with 7Sage, and realized after a month that not only had my cold diagnostic gone down, I had gotten thoroughly confused and disheartened by the methods of teaching they had developed. I switched to another platform and was relatively happy with a new method, but felt like I was still not “smart enough” to be taking the test.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Applying in 2026? Your LSAT Is Worth $200K
Q: Should someone retake the LSAT if they're close to a target score, and how should they structure preparation?
Retaking is worth considering if you can reasonably improve; the host recommends a structured plan (five phases: learning, accuracy, sections, exams, and review) and suggests allocating 5-10 hours per week with a longer horizon for meaningful gains.
Applying in 2026? Your LSAT Is Worth $200K
Q: What time frame is realistic for a June LSAT if applying that fall, and how does that timing impact scholarships?
Taking the June LSAT is feasible and can be ideal because it leaves August as a backup, with applications opening in September when scholarship money is more abundant; waiting until later tests can compress the window for applying and securing funds.
Applying in 2026? Your LSAT Is Worth $200K
Q: Maya asked if the LSAT is harder since logic games were removed, and how that affects study strategy.
The host explained that the removal of logic games simplifies what to study to two main sections (logical reasoning and reading comprehension), and that gains in understanding logic reasoning skills will carry over to both remaining sections, making a focused study plan more efficient.
Everyone Telling You NOT to Go to Law School Is Wrong
Q: Should a splitter (high LSAT, low GPA) retake the LSAT or focus on work experience?
Retaking the LSAT to reach around a 175+ typically has a bigger impact on admissions and scholarships than incremental gains from work experience alone; you can pursue both, but prioritize the LSAT improvement if possible.
Everyone Telling You NOT to Go to Law School Is Wrong
Q: What should a pre-law student focus on to improve their chances of getting into a top law school?
Maintain a strong undergraduate GPA, high LSAT score, and seek practical exposure to law through internships or conversations with practicing attorneys to confirm their interest. The LSAT and GPA are the primary levers for admission and scholarship, so targeting those early is crucial.
