Two rival bus service operators have a business feud that turns personal, and then turns deadly, after one of them takes a trip to Florida, and engages in a passionate affair with a mysterious stranger. Fargo-esque in its twists and turns of ordinary people gett... more

I hate when they do this - Jane Lynch has a small supporting role, yet her name is the only one on the cover. The lead role is voiced by Tammy Kaitz, who did a phenomenal job. Without giving away too much, this starts out as a season of Fargo, but fizzles down into a sad and pretty realistic story. Things happen quickly and look like they are going one way, but the story ends abruptly, giving it a completely different flavor from what one would expect from a story like this.

I don’t know why this was listed under comedy. Maybe I’m not funny but it wasn’t making me laugh all that much. Lynn was awesome her voice was made for audio dramas. I found this entertaining but murder always is. The writing was good. I felt pulled into the story. Immersive. It’s a story about murder no amazing plot twist but entertaining.
And yes still very funny.
The ending of this story is as lifeless as the body in the swamp. Honestly, I'd have felt less cheated if it finished with 'and I woke up and it had all been a dream'. Thank goodness it was only a small investment of time to find that out.
The pointless story takes nothing away from the voice talent though. And Jane Lynch is always great.

This audio drama blends crime, suspense, and dark humor, set against the sun-soaked backdrop of Florida. Rival bus operators feud and intertwine with personal loyalties, sparking a web of motive, betrayal, and murder. With sharp pacing, cinematic stakes, and a tone that nods to grisly thrillers and slick comedies, it hooks listeners through twists, morally ambiguous choices, and larger-than-life personalities. A notable edge is its well-timed blend of levity and menace, anchored by a compelling narrator-driven storytelling style and high-production quality.
The show stands out for its cinematic scope, character-driven tension, and a willingness to mix genre elements—crime drama, satire, and noir—into compact, episode-ready installments that... more
