One star deserved for insulting Havertz even when he was still at that fraud of a football club. He bring you a CL and 80% of your fanbase still disrespect him. On the pod, so fun to hear after Arsenal beat them. Ask yourself why Arsenal are boring when 2 billions squad sleep in their own half all game. They dont even realise that the worst Arsenal player is better than their best one.. Bozo Fernandez for life

I’ve been an avid listener since the Sarri season, but I’m officially unsubscribing. The only reason this podcast gets 2 stars rather than 1 from me is the diligence and effort they make in putting out timely, relevant content. However, that’s where the positivity ends in regard to this podcast. They have been covering this sport for a long time now, yet the naive, unsophisticated takes from those early days have continued, which is a disappointment.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

#1598 | Matt Law Special! Is It July Yet? Xabi: Best In Class Manager! #CFC
Q: Which competitions could Chelsea target next season under Alonso?
Europa League presents a viable route back into the Champions League and would also help with squad rotation and revenue, alongside domestic cup competitions and the Premier League.
#1598 | Matt Law Special! Is It July Yet? Xabi: Best In Class Manager! #CFC
Q: What is the expected transfer strategy under Alonso?
The team expects ready-made, high-quality players to fit immediately into the system, with a focus on a strong, stable transfer window and not micromanaging the process from above.
#1592 | Matt Law Special! A Messy and Dysfunctional Season #CFC
Q: Has the Chelsea squad quit on this season, and are players saving themselves for the World Cup?
The hosts acknowledge signs of disinterest and off-pitch issues; while not asserting certainty, they point to visible detachment, injuries, and strategic distractions that suggest a significant portion of players may have checked out for the rest of the season.
#1587 | New (Old) Manager Bounce? Leeds FA Cup Preview with CFC Central! #CFC
Q: How do Leeds pose a threat to Chelsea in this semifinal?
Leeds are solid defensively, dangerous on set-pieces, and have a physical, direct approach with a strong aerial game; Chelsea's current vulnerabilities and tactical setup will need to counter these elements to progress.
#1587 | New (Old) Manager Bounce? Leeds FA Cup Preview with CFC Central! #CFC
Q: What are the managerial possibilities Chelsea should consider beyond Calum McFarlane?
There is considerable speculation around several managers (Fabregas, Andoni Iraola, Oliver Glasner, Thomas Tuchel, Xabi Alonso, Francisco Farioli) and about the sporting director structure; the hosts argue a need for a stable, clearly supported plan rather than continuing to swap managers.
