  • Mountaineer Paul makes fans out of non-fans

I’m not a West Virginia fan (Oregon), but I stumbled onto this podcast when wanting to hear the Mountaineer fan base’s reaction to Rich Rod coming back. The guy is so wholesome; there’s an earnestness and sincerity in his unabashed love for West Virginia that is flat-out compelling. His gritty honesty abo... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

5-STAR ALERT: Is Paul Osaruyi Committing To West Virginia? | CROWN PREVIEW!
Q: What is your sense of the likelihood and the impact if Paul Osaruyi reclassifies, and how would that affect West Virginia's recruiting landscape?
The hosts suggest that reclassification would likely favor WVU by allowing Osaruyi to join forces with allies like Ali O'Doom and Miles Sadler, potentially creating a formidable 1-2-3 punch; without reclassifying, WVU could face stiff competition from Calipari and Arkansas, making the decision pivotal for WVU's competitiveness and brand strength.
SOURCE tells me that WVU_s O-line COULD DOMINATE this year!
Q: What are your thoughts on Coach Trickett and what he means to this program?
The guest/hosts discuss Trickett as an extremely experienced OL coach whose system aligns with previous WVU success, and note early positive feedback from players that hint at improved line performance.
HOW? CBS Says WVU Is Young, But Is That Actually True??
Q: Is West Virginia actually too young?
The host indicates that while there is some youth on the team, the overall experience in critical playing positions mitigates concerns about the team's age.
BREAKING- West Virginia JUST CAN'T SCORE and Loses Again to TCU!
Q: Should the fanbase be worried about the recruiting class?
It's a concern, but it might be too early to panic as performances in modern college basketball change rapidly.
BREAKING- West Virginia JUST CAN'T SCORE and Loses Again to TCU!
Q: Are you losing faith in Coach Hodge?
No, I feel he has potential given the challenges of a newly formed roster.
