  • Tanking sucks

I like the podcast but there is too much focus on tanking. Tanking is no fun for a season ticket holder or true fan. Actively trying to lose is depressing and not worthy of a sport or the athletes. And it’s a lottery anyway so they are just incrementally increasing chance to get a high pick that might not work out. If next season is another season where they actively trying to tank, I’m out. Just not fun. Fans and players deserve better.

Hey Erik, Big fan of the podcast. I’ve been a Nets fan for a long time. Grew up going to games in Jersey. Love your analysis after each game. This is the best a Nets podcast out there. Keep it up.

  • Lifelong Nets fan - good listen!

Good listen, lifelong Nets fan living in Chicago. Now that they’re not a good team and never on national TV it can be hard to keep up so really appreciate this podcast and the consistency with how often they’re posting. Just got league pass and as bad as they are always excited to keep up.

REPORT: Nate Ament and Karim Lopez FACE OFF In Draft Workout For Brooklyn Nets | 2 Top Nets Targets?
Q: What are your thoughts on Karim Lopez at six and why might Brooklyn be weighing him against other guard options?
Lopez has intriguing size and physical tools but lacks a signature NBA-ready skill, making him more likely a complimentary player than a franchise cornerstone; the Nets could still consider him if they trade down and collect more assets, though six might be too high for him based on current evaluations.
REPORT: Nate Ament and Karim Lopez FACE OFF In Draft Workout For Brooklyn Nets | 2 Top Nets Targets?
Q: At six, what is your take on Nate Ament as a prospect and the odds of Brooklyn taking him there?
The guest believes Ament has high upside and could realistically be in play, but there's significant trade-back potential and uncertainty about whether six is ideal or if Brooklyn would benefit more from trading back for multiple first-round picks.
SLEEPER: Is Brayden Burries Being OVERLOOKED As Brooklyn Nets Draft Option After STANDOUT Season?
Q: What are the main concerns about Burries's long-term upside or fit?
Sizing and elite-level offensive creating ability are the typical concerns; however, his toughness, decision-making, and adaptability could make him a valuable complementary piece on a winning team.
SLEEPER: Is Brayden Burries Being OVERLOOKED As Brooklyn Nets Draft Option After STANDOUT Season?
Q: What would Burries bring to the Nets if drafted at six or in a trade down?
He would bring on-ball versatility, physicality, and a reliable shooting presence as a secondary creator, with potential to contribute as a defender and floor-spacer, though his upside may not be the flashy star level some teams chase.
MONSTER: Aday Mara Could Be a GAME-CHANGER For Brooklyn Nets In 2026 NBA Draft | Is He In Play At 6?
Q: What type of player is Mara, and where does he fit on a potential Nets draft board?
Tyler believes Mara has a high upside as a defensive anchor with elite length and a developing offensive toolkit, but he also notesquestions about conditioning, free throw shooting, and how quickly he can translate to the NBA; six would be a stretch, and trade-back scenarios could be more likely.
