  • Officially done

I’ve listened to this show for about two years and I’m officially done. This guy has gotten more negative by the day, and I get it because it’s the jets but he gets negative because he thinks only what he wants a team to do is the only right move. Or he bashes a move with no context or admittance that it was probably the best of the options or atleast the same positive/negative possibility as other options. For a guy with no football experience he sure talks like hes bill parcells. His madden... more

  • Missed the mark

John B has has been great for the last 2-3 years. however, I’ve been very disappointed in his takes starting with Tanner E. I believe he has missed the Mark in blaming Tanner E for the Jets offensive fails. did you watch the Pittsburgh game? It was filled with RPO‘s and the scored points. Tanner called a good game. Did you watch the next game against Buffalo? Something happened to JF he stopped running and he stopped throwing. JF leader admitted he hurt his knee. But for weeks he refused to run... more

  • Media bias

This guy needs a co host. He talks with way too many opinions as if fact especially for someone with literally zero football operation/scouting/coaching/ or playing experience.

  • Media bias

How many football operation jobs has John had? How many jobs has he had that actually work in football not commenting on it? Did he play or coach or be apart of a football team at his college? This guy talks like he’s a seasoned prosfesssioal who knows more about football than every member of the jets organization, how have the jets not offered him a job? I can’t stand how these media people basically say if the team doesn’t do what they want it’s wrong despite having no real experience with foo... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Why Breece Hall Is TOO Important for the New York Jets to Lose
Q: Should the Jets pursue Jauan Jennings or another veteran receiver to solidify the WR room?
There is value in signing a veteran with known routes and playmaking ability, especially to balance a young group, but it depends on market deals and cap space.
Why Breece Hall Is TOO Important for the New York Jets to Lose
Q: What is your view on the top 2027 quarterback prospects and how stable is the draft board a year out?
The quarterback class is highly unpredictable a year out; there are risers and fallers, and it's not wise to lock in a top pick until nearer to draft day.
Why Breece Hall Is TOO Important for the New York Jets to Lose
Q: But with the cap increasing yearly, wouldn't it be better to evaluate contracts by percentages of the cap?
Yes, evaluating by cap percentage helps compare players across eras and accounts for rising cap figures, which generally keeps contract values in perspective rather than chasing raw dollar figures.
OVERHYPED DRAMA : Aaron Glenn and Darren Mougey's New York Jets "Power Struggle" Examined
Q: With the wide receiver corps, is double-dipping in the draft a plausible strategy?
They support the idea of investing in receivers through the draft, including a potential second first-round pick, to build depth and long-term value.
OVERHYPED DRAMA : Aaron Glenn and Darren Mougey's New York Jets "Power Struggle" Examined
Q: Do you think the Jets should consider drafting a quarterback in the first round or wait for later rounds?
They argue against forcing a first-round QB pick and highlight value-based drafting, suggesting later rounds or alternative approaches could be more prudent.
