  • Filler with the fanboys

Now that it’s fall again, I can’t help but think about my old neighbor, Scott. I’ve told you guys about him before. He was a middle-aged guy who spent all his time sitting in his mom’s basement rambling to himself about a pathetic football team. He told us kids that he was talking to his friend who lived in England (and that was why we never saw him)… but he wasn’t fooling anyone. If only girls had existed back then… oh wait, they did…

  • The filer episodes

I get every show needs a some filter content but this show would rather talk about cowboys for 30 min that its own player that was out for the season and it’s been two days since it happened, there is no build up to the first week opener,

There is one guest who just take 10 min to get to one

Point .with that being said there is good content being provided with the interviews from media personnel.

Episode 2,719 - Answering YOUR Mailbag Questions (Part 2) w/Glenn Naughton
Q: What does AG have to do for ownership to show faith in him and Ryke?
He needs to demonstrate development of young players and maintain competitiveness, even if wins are not stacking up, to prove the roster is moving toward a higher ceiling.
Episode 2,718 - Answering YOUR Mailbag Questions (Part 1) w/Glenn Naughton
Q: Would you try to draft Brendan Soarsby in the supplemental draft? If so, what round?
Glenn and Scott discuss weighing the risk versus reward, suggesting a third or fourth round could be reasonable if they can keep gambling issues under control, and noting the value of three first-round picks if the gamble pays off.
Episode 2,715 - Answering YOUR Mailbag Questions (Part 2) w/Glenn Naughton
Q: Where are the upgrades still required that this team is that far away from being able to be in that range?
The discussion centers on the need for continued development from young players, the fit of the rookies like Siddique and Pons, and whether the added weapons and offensive line improvements will translate into meaningful wins and a playoff push.
Episode 2,707 - What Is the Jets Best Path to Take in the Draft? w/Marc Ross
Q: If you were the Jets, would you take Reese over Bailey at pick number two, and what about other positions or players you might consider?
Yes, Reese would be my pick at number two due to his versatility and impact potential, but I'd also evaluate the overall board for the best player available and consider other positions if a clear upgrade presents itself later in the draft. The goal is to build for the long term rather than force a short-term fix.
Episode 2,707 - What Is the Jets Best Path to Take in the Draft? w/Marc Ross
Q: Marc, I've been waiting to ask you this question. Where do you fall on the Arvel Reese versus David Bailey debate?
I would lean toward Arvel Reese because of his more consistent impact and versatility; I see him as the better overall fit for a multi-dimensional defensive front, whereas Bailey has elite traits but more notable questions about bend and consistency.
