I tried to get into this podcast a few years ago and it didn’t seem like the host at the time followed the Devils closely or even cared. That has changed. Zach provides real insight and tells it how it is. He doesn’t just complain about the state of the team, he is versed and knowledgeable enough to provide evidence to justify his attitude. He certainly gives credit where it’s due, but it’s refreshing to hear someone unafraid to give unfiltered, justified criticism. Really feels like he has... more
The season has started, when is the new host going to drop episodes? I heard Jim on the season preview show but nada since…
Please replace Trey. He seems really nice, but only has surface level knowledge of the devils or even hockey. There is no depth in thought and his opinions often make no sense if he just took a second to think it through. He also routinely misstates facts and his lack of charisma make it a painful listen. I’m sure Trey at one point will get there, but we could use a change.
I never write reviews on anything, but I had to for this one. I was chatting on X with Trey
about the Devs down here in SOFLO and he was just the nicest guy. We seemed to miss each other at the Devs morning skate in Ft. Lauderdale, but we met at the game. Trey was so up and beyond nice. He came to my seats just to say hi and introduce himself. Who does that in today’s digital age? I know who, TREY MATTHEWS! If you ever have the PRIVILEGE to meet and chat, you will not regret it. Ty Trey for bei... more

The show coverage centers on the New Jersey Devils and the wider NHL landscape, with frequent focus on roster construction, contracts, signings, and draft developments. Episodes balance market-wide moves, team-specific analysis, and fan-driven discourse, often pairing break-downs of cap implications, potential targets, and immediate aftershocks of trades with quick sponsor reads.
