  • Awesome Devils podcast!!

Love the podcast! Marty had 4 regulation shutouts in the 2003 Finals. Devils lost game 3, 1-0 in OT. He was robbed of the Conn Smythe!

  • Pretty awful

Avid Devils fan and i’ve listened to maybe 10 episodes and the content is horrible. There’s no depth in analysis and Woo seems to know nothing about the team nor does he seem to do any prep prior to a podcast. The other guy is fine. If you want to hear one guy mumbling for an hour about his feelings, this is for you!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Don't Be Hayton | Guest: Keith Kavanaugh from PuckPedia (SOTFA EP355)
Q: What is Utah's perspective on Barrett Hayton's deal?
Keith explains Utah's willingness to match due to cap space and the value of keeping a former top pick, while the Devils weigh long-term cap implications.
Devils Trade Simon Nemec (WOO REPORT EP476)
Q: What are your initial thoughts on the Nemec trade and the assets received by the Devils?
Vinny responds that the trade was surprising because the return was primarily draft picks rather than a top player, suggesting there may be more moves to come and highlighting the asset-heavy nature as a strategic cap maneuver.
2026 NHL Draft: Devils Get 12th Pick (WOO REPORT EP475)
Q: How do you think Sonny Mehta's autonomy will affect the Devils' drafting approach?
Mehta's autonomy could allow for a more assertive, long-term strategy, enabling bold drafting and acquisitions without derailed decision-making by others in the organization.
Game 63: Devils Vs Rangers (Game Day Live!)
Q: What were your thoughts on trade deadline, the lack thereof?
The host discusses a range of reactions, noting that fans were split between hoping for a bold move and appreciating the caution to avoid unnecessary risks, while acknowledging inconsistencies in management's messaging and the likely emphasis on future seasons rather than a quick fix.
Jack Hughes Speaks To Danielle McCartan (MORNING WOO EP122)
Q: For fans that have kind of lost faith in looking at the standings, what do you want to tell them that makes them think that this team can go on a run?
Jack Hughes responds that he genuinely has nothing to say to them, indicating a lack of faith in improving team performance.
