  • This isn’t a good podcast

No personality at all. Like are we serious? How did this guy even get this job? He’s not humorous, he’s not exciting, he’s not witty or interesting or insightful or anything. I dare anyone to disagree. Objectively bad

  • 2/3 lost

I gave this a two rating because the host has a tendency to either swallow his words at the end of most thoughts and sentences or speaks in such a way that the end of each sentence or thought is indiscernible. Trying to listen while I’m driving I can only make out the first 2/3 of each sentence or thought. It’s like listening to someone who runs up to the microphone to speak and keeps speaking as they walks away walks away. Then they come near to the microphone and then goes away and go back bac... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Previewing the Cleveland Cavaliers and Orlando Magic with Philip Rossman-Reich
Q: Now, if they get up to five and face off with the Cavaliers in the first round, where do you think Orlando would have the advantage and where do you think the Cavs would have the advantage over them?
Cleveland likely has the edge with offense and shot-making, while Orlando's advantage would rely on using size and shot-making from Wagner and Franz Wagner to counter, with Cleveland needing to contain the paint and adjust to two 6'10" wings if Franz Wagner plays.
Previewing the Cleveland Cavaliers and New Orleans Pelicans with Jake Madison
Q: The last time we talked, things weren't necessarily going all that well for the Pelicans. What changed most for the team recently?
Jake explains that health and the return of Dejante Murray have stabilized their offense and defense, giving them grit and better on-court identity, which has improved their performance.
Two Big Questions: Kenny Atkinson's Postseason X-Factor and Evan Mobley's Improvement
Q: Who is the playoff X-factor for the Cavaliers?
The host argues Keon Ellis could be the rotational X Factor, bringing disruption and timely shooting to boost the Cavs' depth and flexibility in different matchups.
Previewing Tuesday's Matchup Between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Detroit Pistons with Ku Khahil
Q: What matchup advantages might Cleveland have against Detroit in a potential playoff series?
Ku highlights Cleveland's frontcourt length and guard-attack capabilities as advantages, while noting Detroit's edge in physicality defense, with Cleveland able to exploit right matchup dynamics at the top of the key.
Previewing Tuesday's Matchup Between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Detroit Pistons with Ku Khahil
Q: Why are the Pistons' shooting woes a repeated theme, and can they sustain competitiveness without traditional shooters?
Ku argues that tight closeouts and tougher looks contribute to their 3-point struggles; he notes Duncan Robinson's inconsistent scoring and discusses how the team relies on a few shooters while others are less consistent.
