  • This isn’t a good podcast

No personality at all. Like are we serious? How did this guy even get this job? He’s not humorous, he’s not exciting, he’s not witty or interesting or insightful or anything. I dare anyone to disagree. Objectively bad

  • 2/3 lost

I gave this a two rating because the host has a tendency to either swallow his words at the end of most thoughts and sentences or speaks in such a way that the end of each sentence or thought is indiscernible. Trying to listen while I’m driving I can only make out the first 2/3 of each sentence or thought. It’s like listening to someone who runs up to the microphone to speak and keeps speaking as they walks away walks away. Then they come near to the microphone and then goes away and go back bac... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Breaking Down What Adjustments the Cavs and Raptors Might Make in Game 5 with Sean Woodley
Q: What should the Cavs do to slow down Scotty Barnes and the Raptors' defense?
The Cavs need to accelerate decision-making, get downhill more quickly off the ball, and use two-big lineups strategically to reintroduce mismatches and keep the Raptors from clogging the paint, while also identifying defensive coverages that keep Barnes from controlling the pace.
Previewing What Potential Adjustments the Cleveland Cavaliers and Toronto Raptors May Make for Game 3 with Sean Woodley
Q: Like what have you thought of games one and two in Cleveland?
Sean Woodley explains that game one was more Cavs-dominant in terms of control, while game two saw Toronto commit to a more aggressive, fast-paced approach; he highlights the Cavs' ability to handle Cleveland's two stars and discusses potential adjustments for game three.
Breaking Down the Advantages for the Cleveland Cavaliers Over the Toronto Raptors with Spencer Davies
Q: How might Toronto adjust to Cavs' pace and defensive pressure?
Toronto could opt for smaller, more mobile lineups to improve switching and space the floor, but they may struggle if the Cavs force them to defend in space and chase on the perimeter, especially with Evan Mobley capable of switching onto bigger wings and acting as a rim protector.
Breaking Down the Advantages for the Cleveland Cavaliers Over the Toronto Raptors with Spencer Davies
Q: What matchup advantages do you think the Cavs have in this series?
The Cavs can leverage a combination of ball-handling, shooting, and their defensive system to pressure Toronto, control the tempo, and create favorable transition opportunities, especially if they can keep their rotation healthy and execute their offense with Harden as a facilitator.
Previewing the Cleveland Cavaliers and Orlando Magic with Philip Rossman-Reich
Q: Now, if they get up to five and face off with the Cavaliers in the first round, where do you think Orlando would have the advantage and where do you think the Cavs would have the advantage over them?
Cleveland likely has the edge with offense and shot-making, while Orlando's advantage would rely on using size and shot-making from Wagner and Franz Wagner to counter, with Cleveland needing to contain the paint and adjust to two 6'10" wings if Franz Wagner plays.
