Ep: 35 - Stop Settling: How Great Companies Find Great People
Q: What is the 'good fit guarantee' and why does it matter?
The good fit guarantee ensures that if a placed employee leaves within a defined period, we replace them for free, because the goal is to place someone who truly fits the role, culture, and expectations, not just someone who says yes initially.
Ep: 35 - Stop Settling: How Great Companies Find Great People
Q: How does the recruiting process actually work when you partner with a client?
We run an employee-attracting system that generates dozens or hundreds of applicants via local social ads, then screen through multiple channels and days with multiple people, delivering a top-filtered slate with detailed notes so the client can interview effectively.
Ep: 35 - Stop Settling: How Great Companies Find Great People
Q: What makes Home Service Hiring different from using a platform like Indeed?
Indeed is powerful but tends to attract those actively looking for work; Home Service Hiring targets the right people who may not be actively looking, using social ads and a broader recruitment approach to generate a much larger pool of applicants and then filter rigorously.
Ep 33 Why Boring Businesses Win! Joe Dan Reed and Scaling the Laundromat Biz
Q: Tell me a little about your background and how you got started as an entrepreneur.
Joe Dan describes growing up in a hands-on, hardworking family, a switch from broadcasting to cleaning services, and eventually finding a niche in the laundromat space. He explains how each step built on a new opportunity and how he and his wife built a scalable operation starting with pickup and delivery and expanding into multiple laundromats and a YouTube channel.
Ep 27 How a Former Tesla & Uber Innovator is Bringing AI to Local Small Businesses
Q: How do you approach risk and decision-making in fast-moving tech landscapes?
He advocates for data-driven decisions, rapid experimentation, and embracing imperfect information to move forward, stressing that delaying decisions can be more harmful than choosing a path and adapting based on results.
