I have been an aloha life listener for years and I used to be a patreon (until the group started posting LGBBQ+ garbage on Facebook).
I recently listened to the “Top 3 on all islands” episode and was disappointed in your Kauai segment about helicopters. The helicopters are safe. The pilots are safe. 100%. It’s the FAA and the Kauai government who have failed to do their job in support of the charters. I know this because my dad was the Safari Pilot who died on Dec 26, 2019. All seven people di... more
I desperately wish I was living in Hawaii, but since I can’t I just live vicariously through Amanda and Wayde. I wait for each podcast and feel like I’m listening to my friends over a beer every time I hear a new one. These podcasts seriously get me through winter every year. Keep up the good stuff!
Although I began listening while planning a future visit to Hawaii, I have gained so much more than I could have hoped. My trip may or may not ever happen, but I am learning to “live aloha” right here in Florida. I love the Hawaiian culture and with each podcast I learn so much about the culture, history and music. We should all strive to Live Aloha everyday in everything we do.
This podcast is educational, inviting, and delightful. The hosts promote tourism to Hawaii done the right way—both how to be respectful and how to enjoy your time there—as well as discuss the history of the islands, the culture, and general life on the islands. It’s great. Give it a listen if you want to learn more about Hawaii or have a trip planned.
These two host could do a podcast about anything and I would listen and love it! I started listening for tips on an upcoming visit to Oahu, yet what I have found is that these two give tips and inspiration for life. I will be listening to this podcast long after I return and do my best to live the aloha life! Thank you so much Poor man and Dr Aloha!
