  • Seriously, fact check

Re: Vivian. The Alaska generational native that left her camp with zero emergency supplies.

A Google search of this story revealed many discrepancies. Here’s a few:

    Alaska Native News 12/15/2013:

A 911 call was placed and a trooper was informed that “Vivian had gone out to get help, and look for her husband.” So, who placed this call? How did they know what she was doing?

As well: Vivian was found approximately 1 mile away. And the temperatures dipped to-20 NOT-25.

  • What I survived should be

The host came from I survived and I just have a feeling maybe she left to start a podcast where people can actually tell their full story. Great listen where survivors get to tell their entire story including the aftermath. It’s so inspiring hearing what happened after and how these incredible people dealt with the trauma of it all. Thank you for venturing out and giving survivors a proper platform!
