  • What I survived should be

The host came from I survived and I just have a feeling maybe she left to start a podcast where people can actually tell their full story. Great listen where survivors get to tell their entire story including the aftermath. It’s so inspiring hearing what happened after and how these incredible people dealt with the trauma of it all. Thank you for venturing out and giving survivors a proper platform!

S1 Ep35: Improved Audio - Vivian - "I Looked Behind Me and Saw the Wolves"
Q: Has anything good come out of this?
Yeah. I know me better. I do. I've always had an issue with self-worth and it still rears its ugly head, but I'm much more confident in who I am.
S1 Ep35: Improved Audio - Vivian - "I Looked Behind Me and Saw the Wolves"
Q: Can you describe the sled?
It's a plastic cargo sled. And it has sides that are about, it's about maybe five feet long. And the sides are about maybe ten inches high.
S1 Ep35: Improved Audio - Vivian - "I Looked Behind Me and Saw the Wolves"
Q: Did you have protocol or a plan in place for if something like this did happen?
We were more well prepared than we had been in the past. But we kind of winged it on a wing and a prayer, you know?
S1 Ep34: Improved Audio - Sheri - "I Could See the Bone Sticking Out of My Face"
Q: Do you have a sense from the doctor of perhaps how close you were to being murdered?
Oh, you know, I had 13 skull fractures, so the swelling and the bleeding could have been fatal.
S1 Ep34: Improved Audio - Sheri - "I Could See the Bone Sticking Out of My Face"
Q: What kind of therapy were you going to?
I went to a psychologist and a psychiatrist for trauma recovery.
